TO A GLOBAL BRAND;
The first tailor shop, opened in Bor-Altunhisar in 1938, came to life in 1969 when his son M. Akif BOCUT began his apprenticeship. M. Akif BOCUT enrolled in the Ankara Tailoring Development Institute in 1972 and received training in tailoring. After completing his military service as a tailoring manager, he specialized in textiles in the Netherlands from 1990 to 1994 and in Germany from 1994 to 1999.
Upon returning to Turkey in 2000, BOCUT established the clothing workshop under the name Ak İSTEKS and began producing workwear. The company operated in the Aksaray Organized Industrial Zone in its ISO-certified factory. İSTEKS started operating abroad in 2016 with its sub-brand UNIPROM. As part of its restructuring plans in 2022, UNIPROM established a large production facility in Aksaray, focusing on the production of corporate workwear worldwide.
İSTEKS serves its customers in its new facility with a closed area of 4000 m² and an open area of 6000 m², adhering to the principle of “Success and Quality.” The company continues its journey by implementing new projects to meet the demands of global brands.
